- So does it really make a difference to be matched with the “right” personal trainer?
It sure does! The combination of personal chemistry plus skill sets and certifications that match with your goals will provide you with the best opportunity for success. The Fit2Go Trainers advantage is that we have an extensive database of personal trainers to choose from, which provides an unprecedented opportunity for people to consistently be matched with the right personal trainer. It is logistically impossible for traditional fitness centers, personal training studios, and franchised personal training services to offer the ability to match you with the right personal trainer, because they are limited to the employees in their company.
- Are the personal trainers employees of Fit2Go Trainers?
Nope. By design, the personal trainers that we provide for you are self-employed contract personal trainers. They have chosen to register with the Fit2Go Trainers Alliance to take advantage of the economies of scale that we offer related to significant insurance costs, marketing, sales, and business administration. By being a part of the Fit2Go Trainers Alliance, personal trainers have eliminated these business expenses and become freed up to focus their time and effort on fitness clients. The Fit2Go Trainers Alliance also provides personal trainers with a much greater chance of attracting fitness clients matched to their preferences and certifications, rather than having to settle for whatever clients they can get.
- What if I do not have any exercise equipment in my home?
That’s just fine! We have access to many personal trainers who have portable personal training tools and equipment that they can bring with them to meet you.
- Sometimes I feel overwhelmed about the idea of starting to learn a fitness program. How can I know if this is for me?
We hear you! With over 30 years of combined experience in this industry, the owners of Fit2Go Trainers have had success in helping tens of thousands of people just like you. Our inside support staff will be sure to match you up with a personal trainer from our Fit2Go Trainers Alliance who will provide you with the kind of support and guidance you need to have you well on your way. Every fit person had to start from somewhere, and a Fit2Go Trainer will give you a “leg up”.
- I have always thought of personal training as an elite service. What level do I need to be at to benefit from a personal trainer?
Glad you asked! Everyone absolutely benefits from the leadership, support, and guidance of a personal trainer. With today’s high standards of certification and education requirements, we all greatly benefit from their knowledge and education. So whether you are a professional athlete, an exercise enthusiast, or a fitness beginner, you will gain tremendous benefits from the services of a Fit2Go Trainer.
- What can be done for older people like me who have chronic pains? Is it even worth it to have a personal trainer at this point?
Never give up on yourself! The fact that you are reading this right now is a good sign that you want to have relief from chronic pain and that you want to have more energy and be stronger. All Fit2Go Personal Trainers have the certifications to know how to manage their initial consultations with people who have chronic pain. Through their consultation with you, they will determine the next appropriate steps, which may or may not involve guidance or treatment from other health professionals. There are several testimonies of people being relieved of their chronic pain through properly supervised fitness with a qualified personal trainer.
- If I plan to exercise 3 or more times a week, is it necessary to have my new personal trainer guiding me through each session?
It’s your call! It depends on your fitness goals and how quickly you want to achieve them. It also depends on your budget. If you decided to begin by taking only one session a week with a personal trainer and then perform your other fitness sessions alone, that is your decision and you will be supported in it. You can always increase your number of sessions a week with a personal trainer at any time. Conversely, if you decide to begin by meeting with a personal trainer three times a week, and then later decide to reduce it to one session a week, we will also support you in that decision. The priority is that you have ongoing guidance from a personal trainer that takes you on the most direct path to your fitness goals.
- Are all certified personal trainers insured?
This is an important question! In the fitness industry as a whole it is a very “hit and miss” thing to be sure of which certified personal trainers are properly insured. Many personal trainers have difficulty affording their own insurance coverage. Some personal trainers make an effort to be covered by common liability insurance but have difficulty being able to afford professional liability insurance. Some personal trainers are not aware of the responsibility of being properly insured and others are knowingly running the risk of servicing clients without proper insurance coverage. With Fit2Go Trainers you can always have the peace of mind in knowing that when you are being serviced under contract with us by a personal trainer from the Fit2Go Trainer’s Alliance who is on contract with us to service you, there is full insurance coverage; both common liability and professional liability.
- I’ve invested a lot of money in home gym fitness equipment? Now what?
We can put it to use! All personal trainers have received their official certifications through practical tests that involve the use of a wide variety of fitness tools and equipment. If you have fitness equipment in your home or workplace that you want to use, we will provide you with a personal trainer that will help you to put that equipment to good use.
- Is personal training strictly a one on one service, or would I be able to engage Fit2Go Trainers to provide a personal trainer for me and my friends?
Sounds like fun! In cases where people would like to engage in semi-private personal training (two people) or small group personal training, Fit2Go Trainers will provide the right personal trainer with qualifications to professionally lead sessions that require attention to more than one individual at a time. There is an exciting trend within the fitness industry pointing to more people moving towards fitness in the context of either a “buddy system” or a small group forum. This is a very positive trend because not only is the personal trainer keeping the fitness client accountable, the participants are now becoming a positive motivation to each other.
